Product Description:

Improve the performance and appearance of your semi truck with the Fleet Engineers ASP-25 Series Quarter Fenders. These fenders are designed with a short support tube for superior aerodynamics and are lighter in weight than classic metal quarter fenders. The one piece injection molded design includes v-rib channels on the underside to move water spray away from the tire, helping to keep the road clear for other drivers. The textured surface of the fenders resists scratches and dings, and the fenders measure 25 x 24" in size.

How to Install:

  1. Begin by parking your semi truck in a flat, stable location and setting the parking brake.

  2. Locate the quarter fenders on the truck. They are typically found on the rear wheels, on either side of the vehicle.

  3. If necessary, remove any mud flaps or other accessories that are attached to the fenders.

  4. Use a trim removal tool or a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry off any decorative trim or covers that are attached to the fenders. Be careful not to damage the trim or the truck's body.

  5. Using a ratchet and socket set, remove the bolts that secure the quarter fenders to the truck. There may be several bolts on each fender, depending on the make and model of the truck.

  6. Once all of the bolts have been removed, gently lift the quarter fenders off of the truck. If the fenders are difficult to remove, you may need to gently wiggle or twist them to loosen them from the mounting points.

  7. If the new quarter fenders have any protective film or covers, remove these before installing the fenders on the truck.

  8. Line up the new quarter fenders with the mounting points on the truck, and secure them in place using the bolts you removed earlier.

  9. Tighten the bolts using a torque wrench or a socket set, following the manufacturer's specifications for torque.

  10. Replace any decorative trim or covers that you removed earlier.

  11. Repeat these steps on the other side of the truck to complete the installation of the quarter fender kit.

  12. Test the quarter fenders to ensure that they are properly secured and functioning as intended.

  13. Dispose of the old quarter fenders and any packaging materials in an environmentally responsible manner.

When to Replace:

It is recommended to replace the quarter fenders if they become damaged or begin to fail. It is also a good idea to keep a spare set on hand in case of unexpected failure. Regular inspection of the fenders can help to identify any issues that may need to be addressed.
